World Under-24s starts on Sunday!
There's free games every day, and we'll be there chatting and soaking up the vibes
The World Under-24 Championships starts tomorrow, with teams from all over the world competing to find out who has the best young players around. The tournament is being streamed with the same paywall model as WUCC so you (and the players that want to see their own games) have to pay to see most games and also the finals, but there’s also a free game on the Ultiworld YouTube every day to whet your appetite.
Although many of our European crew members will be handling the cameras or the microphones the coming week. Unfortunately with the closed joint venture between WFDF and Ultiworld, ULTI.TV could not offer you ‘free to watch’ live streams for wu24.
The schedule for the free games is (all times are local/BST):
Sunday, July 2nd, 3 PM: Japan vs. Great Britain (Mixed)
Monday, July 3rd, 11 AM: New Zealand vs. China (Open)
Tuesday, July 4th, 9 AM: Australia vs. China (Women’s)
Wednesday, July 5th, 11 AM: 1B v. 1D (Mixed Power Pool)
Thursday, July 6th, 1 PM: Quarterfinal (Women’s)
Thursday, July 6th, 3 PM: Quarterfinal (Open)
Friday, July 7th, 9 AM: Semifinal (Mixed)
Our own Stef Pazzo will be on-site all week too alongside Luna Andrade and Charlotte Terrasson to interview players, get a sense of what’s going on around the campus and shoot some vibes around the games!
We’ll be back with you this time next week to show you the vibes from this team and to get you hyped for EUC in Limerick, which is only a week later (and will be all free to watch on YouTube)! If you’re excited for Euros as well and want to help us prepare to bring you all the ultimate happening all over the world for the rest of the year, consider becoming a patron here.
See you soon friends!
