We've got you covered from Brentford to Basel
Two tournaments this weekend and we're LIVE from both!
Windmill was great, wasn’t it? Loads of fantastic teams, some exciting streamed games and outstanding vibes all weekend. Those games are all still available to watch on our YouTube channel so if you missed any of the action, head on over there!
This weekend the action continues, with two high-level tournaments in Europe to bring you. First, we’ve got the London Invite for the second year. This season there’s a strong national team flavour to the event, with the three favourites for the open EUC title later in the summer all attending - Great Britain, Germany and Belgium. They’re joined by a very good Czech team that just finished third at Windmill and the reigning Japanese champions, Nomadic Tribe. This is the first time in aaaaaages that a Japanese club team has travelled over to Europe to play here so seeing them against the best national teams in Europe is going to be amazing! Tom’s winners Great Britain women are here as well, and will be facing off with GB masters women, European powerhouses YAKA and two teams preparing for the World Under-24 Championships in Nottingham in a couple of weeks; Great Britain and Australia.
There’ll be games pretty much all day on both days from London, including two show games later in the day, GB Open vs Nomadic Tribe and an under-24 warm up between GB and Australia. We have a team ready and raring to go (including yours truly) to keep you updated, entertained and informed.
Then in Basel, we have Swiss nationals! There are 15 open teams and nine women’s teams battling for the honour of being called national champions. Panthers from Bern won last year, the first time open was won by a team other than perennial powers Flying Angels or Freespeed, and will be looking to try and nail down title number two. FABulous have won all but two of the titles in women’s and are back to try and secure yet another crown. We have a team on the ground to bring you the latest of everything from Switzerland, so check it out!
There’s even more frisbee on the way this season so stay tuned, and if you’re enjoying all this content please consider signing up to the Patreon to help us bring you even more of what you love! See you all on a pitch somewhere soon!
