๐ฆ๐น Vienna Spring Break, breaks the bubble
the bubble structure that has been in place during the qualification race for EUCF will be dismantled for teams competing at this tournament.
This weekend, ULTI.TV can be found in Vienna, where Vienna Spring Break will take place. During this tournament, both open and women's divisions will have the opportunity to do interesting things with their EUCS rankings.
With recent changes in the qualification rules for the European Ultimate Club Finals (EUCF), Vienna Spring Break takes on a new significance. Teams also have the chance to score valuable points during this tournament in the race towards EUCF qualification. The bubble, in which teams have played until now, will be broken, resulting in exciting games between teams that have not yet met on the field.
Women's Division
In the Women's Division, several teams will participate who represented themselves last weekend during Spring Tour. Among them is the Swiss team Flying Angels Bern, which landed in fourth place in the rankings (select Womenโs division) after a strong performance in Grenoble. With experienced players and an impressive skill set of throws, they are strong opponents. The Czech team 3SB is also a favorite in this tournament after winning multiple prizes in earlier Spring Breaks.
Open division
In the open division, more teams are freshly from Spring tour than in the women's division, which will add an extra dimension to the tournament. 3SB, Uprising, Terrible Monkeys, Flying Angels Bern, CatchUp, FUJ, Outsiterz, and FWD (select Open division) are ready to battle it out. Despite their performances in Spring Tour last weekend, they must perform at Vienna Spring Break. The question is which teams can best handle the fatigue of two consecutive tournament weekends and who can adapt the quickest after analyzing their own games from Spring Tour. In the open division.
