October 14th, 2024, marked the first-ever World Beach Ultimate Club Championships. 1844 athletes, 706 games to be played, 117 teams from 33 different countries, and 3 exciting divisions (Open, Mixed, Women’s), what more could a Beach Ultimate fan ask for?
The first day of competition was what many would describe as a perfect day. A beautiful sunny day with a whisp of clouds sliding through the sky and only a whisper of wind. Festivities kicked off with an energy-inducing Opening Ceremony, setting the tone for a day filled with 97 high-flying, sand-in-your-face games. Let’s recap the action in each division.

Day 2 of WBUCC 2024: Pretenders or Contenders? Even a Storm Couldn’t Stop the Top Teams⚡
Players had the second day of WBUCC marked on their calendars for one reason only: a storm was coming. With strong winds gusting in from the coast, showers dancing over the fields, and the threat of a thunderstorm on the dark purple horizon, all 1844 athletes were put to the ultimate test.

Day 3 of WBUCC 2024: Tight Games and Shifting Sands Reveal the Tournament’s Powerhouses
The third day of WBUCC was littered with huge upsets and tight-knit games. In a complete 180° turn from yesterday’s weather, the skies were calm and the sun was shining. The only thunderous rumble to be heard were the growls and cheers from a slate of unbelievable games.
