Aussie Nationals Live Streamed Again 🦘
Both Division I and Division II will be on ULTI.TV for your viewing pleasure
It’s been a moment since Australian Nationals has been broadcast live. It is an absolute honour for all of us at ULTI.TV to be back where it all began, in the wonderful sunburnt country downunda’.🇦🇺🦘 We’re thrilled to have the opportunity to be pointing our cameras, and calling all the action from both divisional championships, in both the Women’s 🚺 and Open 🚹 divisions.
With such a storied history of competition, dating back to 1978 in the Men’s (open) division and 1994 in the women’s it only makes sense to have this illustrious competition back on ULTI.TV. Both divisional Championships will take place in the state of Victoria, with regional hosts residing outside of Melbourne.
Australian Ultimate Championships (AUC)
The 2024 championships will remain in Ballarat after a successful rendition in 2023. This years AUC will take place from April 19-22. The gold rush of the 1850’s will be back on offer to the Champions in each division, and just as the tournament remains in Ballarat, the Ellipsis club hopes that the championship trophies remain in their cabinets. Last year marked the second time that Ellipsis had a winning club in both divisions, the first time was in 2021. The Ellipsis women’s side is hoping to win their 8th straight title 8️⃣ 🏆 … capturing their first all the way back in 2016… in Ballarat.
As good as Ellipsis have been, nothing will be given. Strong representation from all over the country, and some visiting Kiwi’s 🥝 😸 (New Zealanders) will surely push them to the brink, in either division. Of course, all the action will be available on the ULTI.TV youtube channel 🎥 . Make sure to tune in, share the links, like 👍, subscribe 🔔, and relish in taking in this amazing opportunity.
Australian Ultimate Championships Division II (AUC DII)
Div 2 is going to Shepparton, and is due up this weekend!! (April 12-14)
With 12 teams in the Women’s division, and a whopping 23 in the Open division, the action on offer seems limitless. Women’s defending champions NSU Aurora 🌃 will be back to defend their 2023 title, coming from west of Sydney in New South Wales. Meanwhile the Open Champions Hot Chilly🌶️ have been promoted to Division 1, (Check out the Gak Best Perspective interview) so there will be a new champion hoisting the trophy for DII Open.
Great news! You’ll be able to see that all unfold, by tuning into ULTI.TV.
We can’t wait to be back!
